British manufacturer of luxury cars "Aston Martin", is considering the possibility to start building a new factory in Macedonia, reports Reuters.
British agency, citing anonymous sources, have said that Aston Martin is sees Macedonia as the next destination for the expansion of its network, reports Telegraph.
This company which months ago created a list of 19 possible destinations, reduced the list to just two locations in the UK, one in the US state of Alabama and one in the Middle East, reports Telegraph.
However, according to the same sources, in recent weeks in this list appears in the former Yugoslav republic, which according to Reuters submitted a good offer for the British car maker.
"Macedonia is the last candidate who previously had been rejected", has become a source who added, saying that "they have resurfaced with a better offer."
A senior government official in Skopje, who wanted to remain anonymous, confirmed that Macedonia is in the race to build the factory Aston Martin.
"We were able to offer a better offer," he added.
